The southern version of Shark Tank

Wednesday afternoon I meet up with some friends to attend the Cohort 10 Final Pitch & Charleston Angel Conference.

The best way to describe it would be Shark Tank with a southern accent and sweet tea.

Entrepreneurs pitched for funding while a panel of judges asked the tough questions.

As one of the leading media buyers in the world I have an unfair advantage over most of the audience because I am completely unattached to ideas and focus on the growth potential.

Ideas are a dime a dozen.

It’s not hard to create a burst of fast sales for most ideas in the beginning when you’re excited about the idea.

The key is can you scale it fast enough to create momentum, cash flow, and capture market share before your growth flat lines or your competition innovates?

Growth is the drug that fuels investors and the lack of it attracts the sharks to put you out of business.

I have a question for you.

How much growth can you handle?
